Daylight observes a site in Manhattan’s Chinatown, where demolition is making way for the construction of the fourth iteration of a jail on the site. “Justice architects” design the new plans for the jails. Daylight archives the languge, designs and materials used to perpetuate a centuries long system of carceral expansion.
